On 23:50

That is: and We bestowed favour upon Jesus son of Mary and made him and his mother among the wondrous signs of God, in that she conceived him and gave birth to him without a father, and he spoke in the cradle as a child, and God caused to be wrought at his hands the signs that He wrought. And We gave them both refuge on a height, that is, an elevated place, and this, and God knows best, was at the time of her delivery, having a place of rest, that is, a settled abode and ease, and a flowing spring (23:50), that is, running water, as shown by His words: your Lord has placed beneath you, that is, beneath the place in which you are, because of its elevation, a stream (19:24), that is, a river, which is the flowing spring; and shake towards you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you fresh ripe dates. So eat and drink and be comforted in eye (19:24–26).
